Week 15 Day 2

 Living off of minimum wage is a grueling and sometimes even impossible task. Today, the assignment was to calculate a realistic budget of someone's living expenses off of minimum wage and 40 hour work weeks. The results showed that there would be no left over money and it all would be necessary to make a living.

Week 15 Day 1

 A woman in this documentary is living off of seven dollars an hour and receiving unideal hours at work. She relies heavily on the government for living and is on the verge of homelessness. She could be in a better positioning with budgeting, but the root problem spans further than her own ability to control her circumstances.

Week 14 Day 1

 In class, we did a newsela on the poor disposal aspect of the shoe industry. Shoes seem to be very bad for the environment considering what they are made of and their short use span.

Week 13 Day 3

 In class, we did a newsela on the application of AI chatbots into college and the workforce. I lost my paragraphs of summary and as a result did not turn in the constructed response. I did it, though, and it was more effort than most of the students in the class. Such a shame.

Week 13 Day 2

 In class, we went over unpopular opinions. The point of this is to show our capabilities in writing for two opposing arguments. I enjoyed writing the unpopular opinion the most because I had fun ideas to write about. I chose to speak as objectively as possible and express my points as complete as I could.

Week 13 Day 1

 Spring break is a time to rest after enduring the majority of the school year and a time to reset before the hectic reality of exam season. However, I repressed anything to do with school this break. Right as I got out of school on Friday, I took a nap. After that nap, I was in what I coin, 'Freedom Mode'. I stayed up pretty late because of the nap and played my favorite game Rainbow Six: Siege. I believe that I did not perform well that night, but nonetheless, I was happy. I nearly forgot about a trip that I was going on with my friends the next morning. That next morning, I went straight to my friend Ryan's house with 6 other friends and saw a massive van and his dad waiting for us. Once everyone arrived and was situated, we left. The 6-hour drive to Hilton Head was more enjoyable than one would expect. I started an instrumental project and watched a movie. The time flew by.
