 very ill and thus absent

 

 We worked on a separate assignment from the poem about our personal connections to our cultures. I decided that I could work harder on learning Spanish and continuing to live in Atlanta in order to increase my cultural competence and inclusion in diversity. I also finished my poem.

 We started poems for cultural reflection. I have a good idea for what I want to do for mine. I can compare my friendship with my long-distance friend Calvin to my cultural division from Colombia.

 I caught up for the week by completing the assignments on canvas. I enjoyed scoping out plans for my dreams.

 I was absent and very ill :(

 Since Mr. Rease is not here today, we had a substitute teacher. We were instructed to complete an assignment on Common Lit. This assignment was relevant because it gives further context as to America's involvement in the Vietnam War.

 Today we did notes on a notable figure for black history. We learned about Condoleezza Rice. She is an athlete, politician, and foreign advisor that has been essential to several administrations in modern history. I was very surprised that I didn't know about this person.

 On Wednesday, I presented my project along with a large amount of other people. My project was what I would make the sound track for the book we are reading. I chose to use my music taste because I like showing people the music I listen to. I listen to a large quantity of small artists who deserve more recognition and me personally being able to advertise those artists for a large grade in my literature class was a blessing.

 On Tuesday, we did an assignment about the book. The big screen was not working and we were going to do more presentations, but that was impossible now.
