 i could close my eyes and pretend this day never happened. the result would be an insignificant difference to what had occured having attempted to do my best in the class.

 we took a test in the class, but the teacher was absent today. everybody failed and it was apparently our fault and apparently it wasn't as hard as our class made it out to be.

 this day comprised of a worksheet with several questions reviewing the "Yellow Wallpaper". Not much happened and I finished the work early

 in class, we did a worksheet on the yellow wallpaper and i finished the story. the assignment felt more like busy work than anything. i enjoyed the story, nonetheless.

 we started this book called the yellow wallpaper which i think is an interesting story. i like how it tells the story of one woman driven insane by several gathering factors and has a theme that addresses the problems that feminism focuses on with such a single story.

 we read an essay about how wives are seen as objects by husbands and that marital relationships are one-sided. I didnt like how this, like the day before, focused on the idea that all wives are treated this way and this is what always happens in marriages, especially i didnt like it as my family was split because of my mother's carelessness, etc.

 In class, we started the feminism unit. in this class, specifically, we talked about things that very much contradicted what we were learning about in the beginning of the year such as the dangers of generalizing. It seemed that what we are lesrning about this unit, however, is how womrn are treated and not learning about what causes this or when this happens and also paints men in a very negative light along with all women being a grand victim even in today's landscape.
