 On our last day before Thanksgiving Break, our class finished the final reflection of the packet that we were given. I never finished it, so I will have it turned in mext time I see Mr. Reass. I am spending the break in New Orleans to visit family.

 we finished the video and finished the active reflection on the journey to school. I feel appreciative for the ease of my half a mile walk to my bus stop in comparison to, for example, the Kenyan children who hiked dangerous land for dozens of kilometers to arrive.

 we worked on an assignment about the journey to school for children in third world countries. While these journeys are brave and trecherous, i am sure that these were chosen because they displayed the extremes of these travels.

 we had a sub and took notes on vocabulary words starting with F.

 Today, we finished the video about single stories. I liked the speaker's analogy about American Psycho, where somebody with only that story of America thinks that it is realistic that young American men are rich, snobby, and deranged murderers. I think this lesson opened my mind on viewing things that I do not fully understand.

 On this block day, we learned about the single story. A single story is a single perspective on the life of people one does not fully understand. I like these lessons because they preach an open mind which i morally agree with.

Career project has been very inconsistent. I will take a few days to get caught up on everything, but it's nice we have tuesday off. I have all of my college prepared, so these will be a breeze.

 We began working on mock job resumes and were introduced to a presentation project on our college path. I like the resume work because i have not done any of that, despite necessity for my future. I made up a recording studio name and began working on the resume. Maybe i could run a recording studio some day.

 I finished my career plan in class and nothing really changed in my college outlook and such. I simply put in all of the information i already knew because i have completed college application and university information already. I also left early because my mom said i wasn’t allowed to be at school with a fever, but i have no regrets about trying to.

 Continued career research and finished the assignment that was to be done for homework given monday. I learned that out of state tuition can be avoided in some cases if the state’s residential policy allows it.

 Started career research. I already know what i want to do and have for several months. Currently working toward that goal right now, so i simply followed the format for the assignment’s sake.
