Week 9 day 3
Today in class we presented our short story reflections. My art piece, as the illustrator, displayed the vast difference in setting in the story. I showed the hills and large, vast homes of Summit Hill on one side, separated by a rift displaying dominican farmland. I could have also implemented the very important road which i think i should have.
Week 9 day 1
We began working on a new project. This project calls for groups of 4 to cooperate on, firstly, digesting a story. After this reading, all group members perform different tasks in order to fully grasp the story. Groups will present wednesday. This project is different form anything ive done before, so i appreciate the unique aspect of this assignment.
Week 7 Reflection 3
I finished my PowerPoint. Apparently, not everybody is presenting. I feel like I am prepared to present, but I suppose that time will tell. This project felt quite easy and was not all too taxing on me.
Week 7 Reflection 2
Today, we worked on our PowerPoint presentations. I brainstormed ideas and got a few slides done, but I feel like I could have been more productive. However, working on the presentation is fun as I am ethnically connected to Colombia closely.
Week 7 reflection 1
Today we have started a project to learn about a latin country. Lucky for me, I got Colombia, which is where half of my heritage comes from. I am excited to share my knowledge of Colombia.
